Chamberlain
Association of America
Annual
Reports
The Annual Reports of the first Chamberlain Association of America
are sometimes mentioned as sources of information on Chamberlain
pedigrees, as well as early efforts to systematically study genealogy
of the surname. In the interests of facilitating an acquaintance
with the activities and achievements of the old Association, we
have decided to republish the early annual reports in full. This
process will take place over the next year or two.
The CAA published nine Annual Reports between 1898 and 1910.
The following is the Table of Contents for each of the issues. This
TOC was prepared by Jim Parker a co-founder and the first treasurer
of the WCGS.

It must be noted some of the findings in these reports were
incomplete and occasionally erroneous assertions were presented.
The early CAA reports therefore contained a few errors. To be sure
that the misunderstandings are not propagated further, the editors
are offering a commentary along with an index for each report.
